Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Plito website, accounts and AI receptionist services (the "Services"). By accessing the site, creating an account, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The service

Plito provides an AI-powered phone answering, triage and appointment-booking service for home-services businesses. Features, plans and pricing are described on our website and may change over time.

Accounts & sign-in

You may create an account with an email and password, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and authorized to act for the business you represent.

Free trial & billing

Free trials are offered at our discretion. Paid plans are billed for the agreed period and may be cancelled at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period unless required by law.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Plito lawfully and not to use the Services for spam, fraud, harassment or any unlawful communications. You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Services.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the business information and instructions you provide to the AI, and for complying with applicable laws — including call-recording, consent and telemarketing rules — in the jurisdictions where you and your callers are located.

Intellectual property

The Services, including the website, software and branding, are owned by Plito and protected by applicable laws. You retain ownership of the content and information you submit, and grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Services for you.

Third-party services

The Services rely on third-party providers (such as telephony, AI/voice, hosting and email providers). Your use of those features may also be subject to the relevant provider's terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard for high reliability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not responsible for missed calls or bookings caused by outages, misconfiguration, or third-party telecom or software failures.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plito will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or business, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the three months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that risks harm to others or to the Services.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts located in Georgia, unless mandatory law in your place of residence provides otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
